Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on https://bytegix.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide reporting information. Similar technologies include web storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and pixel tags. In this policy, we use the word "cookies" to refer to all of these.

2. Cookie categories on bytegix.com

We use exactly two categories of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are set whenever you visit the site. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you give your consent in the cookie banner.

Strictly necessary — always on

These cookies are essential for the site to function. They store no information that can identify you; they only remember your cookie preferences so we do not show the consent banner on every visit.

We do not use any marketing, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not use any cross-site tracking pixels.

3. Server-side telemetry

In addition to cookies, our servers send anonymized HTTP request metadata to Azure Application Insights for security monitoring, error diagnostics, and performance measurement. Client IP addresses are masked before this data leaves our infrastructure. This processing does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended), this server-side processing does not require prior consent because it is necessary for the legitimate interest of operating a secure website and does not store information on your device.
